About Us

Our story begins in 2004 when our creator, Roger Rondeau, noticed a gap in the market while searching for top quality, durable tactical products. With alot of research, consultation and time, Roger was able to source the first class merchandise you now see on our website. When he still couldn't find exactly what he wanted, he followed his passion further to create his own label- Duty Apparel, which we proudly use to equip front line workers: paramedics, police, transit operators, military, and search and rescue personnel. 

 

Also an avid outdoor enthusiast, Roger wanted to find products suitable for bushcraft so he expanded his business to create Kerns Outdoor Outfitters, our sister company.  With our 'forever guarantee' you know we believe in what we sell as we stand by our products for life!

 

On Duty is based in rural Northern Ontario but our small team has international range. We strive to offer you unique, specially selected apparel and accessories for use in your day to day work or for your greatest adventure."
